Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Counterintelligence Specialist to provide Physical Surveillance Support at Fort Meade, MD. This position requires significant counterintelligence and surveillance experience, along with formal training in discrete physical surveillance.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive relevant experience and must be a graduate of DIA JCITA’s Discrete Physical Surveillance Course or an equivalent DoD/Intelligence Community (IC) training program.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical surveillance support in support of counterintelligence missions and operational requirements.
• Apply established physical surveillance techniques, methodologies, and tradecraft.
• Support counterintelligence activities requiring discreet observation and surveillance capabilities.
• Operate effectively within sensitive mission environments while adhering to established procedures and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with counterintelligence personnel and other mission partners as required.
• Apply formal surveillance training and prior operational experience to support mission objectives.

Required Training

Candidates must be a graduate of one of the following:

• DIA JCITA Discrete Physical Surveillance Course, or
• DoD/Intelligence Community equivalent physical surveillance training

Education & Experience

Candidates must meet one of the following education and relevant experience combinations:

• High School Diploma: 12 years of relevant experience
• Associate Degree: 10 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree: 8 years of relevant experience
• Master’s Degree: 6 years of relevant experience

For all education levels, at least a portion of the required relevant experience must have been performed within the last two years.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an experienced counterintelligence professional with substantial hands-on physical surveillance experience and formal IC or DoD surveillance training. This individual will be comfortable operating in sensitive environments and applying established surveillance tradecraft to support mission requirements.
