Full Stack Developer
Location: Chantilly, VA
Experience: 3–7+ Years
Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join a mission-focused technical team in Chantilly, VA. This position is ideal for a developer who enjoys working across the full software development lifecycle and building modern, scalable applications in support of challenging mission requirements.
We are open to candidates with approximately 3–7+ years of professional software development experience, with responsibilities and level determined based on experience.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack software applications.
- Develop responsive and intuitive front-end interfaces as well as scalable back-end services and APIs.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, technical leads, and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into working software solutions.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases to store, retrieve, and manage application data.
- Develop applications within cloud-based environments, including AWS.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications and services.
- Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Use modern source control and CI/CD practices to support efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Maintain clear, well-organized, and documented source code.
- Adapt applications and capabilities as mission requirements, technologies, and data needs evolve.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Approximately 3–7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience developing full-stack web applications.
- Proficiency with one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience with modern front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience developing back-end services and REST APIs.
- Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Git/GitHub or similar source-control tools.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a technical team.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience developing and deploying applications within AWS.
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, or DynamoDB.
- Experience building and deploying containerized applications using Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Experience with microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with automated testing and software quality practices.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Experience supporting software development within the Intelligence Community or DoD.
- Relevant AWS or technical certifications are a plus.
